KELLY PAGE — Owner / Instructor

Kelly started practicing Ashtanga yoga in 1998 and has been practicing close to 5 days a week since then. She practices in silence in the traditional Mysore style of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois. She began her study with Dominic Corigliano in Encinitas, California. Upon moving to Seattle in 2000, she studied under David and Catherine Garrigues at the Ashtanga Yoga School. She received her Ashtanga teaching certificate from them in 2003 and began teaching.

She teaches with a calm and easygoing style following the traditional ways and flow of Ashtanga’s series. Her classes are flowing and moving with the emphasis on breath. With breath and a continual practice, you will eventually be able to do any yoga posture in time. Pattabhi Jois’ motto is 1% theory and 99% practice, this is true in Kelly’s teaching method.

When not teaching, you will find her spending time with her husband and little girl or out catching waves. She was raised in California and lived in Hawaii for 4 years. With that comes her calming and happy personality which is reflected in her teaching style.

“With gratitude I honor the traditional style of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, and Sharath Ragaswamy, his grandson, my teachers, for their commitment and devotion to Ashtanga Yoga and bringing this lovely practice into my life.” — Kelly Page

GREG OWEN

He also loves to practice Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers.

Greg’s classes bring the full range of the yogic teachings which bring all the aspects of chanting, pranayama, visualization, clear alignment, and meditation within the format of his cutting edge and playful sequencing. His teaching style is powerful with deep roots in the traditional style of yoga.

BRENDA BRYAN — Owner / Instructor

Brenda Bryan discovered a way to combine her love of dogs, yoga, massage therapy and the desire to assist people and their canine companions along their chosen life paths through teaching doga: a yoga class you do with your dog.

After creating and developing Barking Buddha DogaTM. Brenda is a sought after authority on yoga with dogs. She has appeared in national and international publications and interviews. Brenda teaches Barking Buddha Doga classes, seminars and teacher training programs nationally and has published a book and magazine articles on the subject. In addition to teaching people with their dogs, Brenda continues to teach “people classes” at Westside Yoga and Doga combining her love of music and literature to create a unique and physically challenging teaching style for her people students.

Curiosity and the desire to be able to touch her toes took Brenda to her first yoga class in 1998. Although Brenda was physically inflexible and yoga was one of the most difficult activities she had ever encountered, it was also the one of the most gratifying.

After experiencing a wide variety of teachers and yoga modalities, Brenda enrolled in and graduated from The 8 Limbs Teacher Training Program in Seattle, Washington. Although grateful to all of the wonderful teachers she has encountered over the years, Brenda believes her greatest teachers are her students, her dogs and everyday life experiences.

“With gratitude I honor The Seattle Humane Society and all dog rescue and health organizations working to bringing more love to the world through our relationship with animals. Most of all I bring gratitude and honor to my companions and teachers, my dogs: Honey, Gus and Nelson.” — Brenda Bryan
